Sou Kawaii's Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament took place on Saturday, July 26th, 2008.

The event was in part arranged to raise money for a Canadian Charity, in which this year was decided upon as the Canadian Cancer Society. The registration fee was the accumulating donation to the charity.

There were 42 participants in this year's event, helping us raise $126.00 to charity.

In this year's event, Trevor Louch captured the title, finishing first place in all 4 of his preliminary round robin games and then rolling into the playoff with his hot play adding an additional 5 wins and no losses to his perfect tournament record for the win.

Second place went to Jens Oleson, with 3 first places and 1 second place finishes in his preliminary round robin games.

Third place went to Lucas Court, with a perfect 4 first place finishes in the preliminary round robin.

A seperate thank you to Myles Sulderitsch for lending us his Nintendo Wii and also to Nick Martiniuk and Trevor Louch for helping unlock the last few character and stages.

And last but not least, a huge thank you to all the participants to this year's event, for making it a successful and enjoyable tournament for everyone.
